I am a general pathologist and medical microbiologist and have worked in Canada for more than 20 years. I was born in Mexico and I am planning to work and help a community in coastal Oaxaca,Mexico (Pochutla,Oaxaca). We have enormous problems with the water supply in coastal Oaxaca. I personally use a ceramic filter that cost me over $300 Canadian dollars. Most people in coastal Oaxaca rely on expensive bottled water and there is a problem with the plastic containers as well. I believe there is a need to extend the use of ceramic filters in Oaxaca as they traditionally are great clay artisans. Unfortunately I found your website today in the CDC newsletter and will not be able to attend. Is there a contact person who could help me in this endeavor?
